As the Donor Engagement and Gifts Officer at STEP, Ron brings over 19 years of veteran service. His role includes establishing partnerships and financial support for STEP's mission. He is a 20-year U.S. Navy Veteran and served at various Naval Air Stations, including Norfolk, Sigonella, Whidbey Island, Seattle, and Miami. He deployed to Saudi Arabia and Germany and served aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln during Operation Enduring Freedom.

After retiring from the Navy, he earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Columbia College. He has worked as an Outreach Manager, a Homeless Veterans Case Manager, and a Benefits Advisor for the VA. Originally from Athol, MA, he now resides in Olympia, WA. He enjoys golfing, singing, playing guitar, live music, good meals, and relaxing by the campfire with his wife and puppies. He joined STEP to make a difference for those who serve our nation.
