
The People Behind The Mission
Selya leads marketing at STEP, handling everything from storytelling and graphic design to digital outreach and content creation. With a degree in Digital Media Design and a certificate in UI/UX Design, she designs and manages STEP’s website and oversees user experience across platforms. She built the integration between STEP’s donation platform and Salesforce and has implemented several other automations to streamline operations.
She’s passionate about design, creative problem solving, and learning new technologies and skills to help the mission grow - always looking for ways to make things work (and look) better. Selya joined the STEP family in 2021 and is honored to be part of a mission that supports military families like her own. As a military daughter, she understands firsthand the financial challenges our young families face. She’s always wanted to use her skills to make a difference, and is proud to do that every day.
