Capacity Building Campaign

Exciting news is on the horizon with the launch of our Capacity Building Campaign.

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Capacity Building Campaign, a pivotal initiative that aims to expand our impact nationwide. Your unwavering support has brought us here, and we are excited to share the details of our ambitious campaign with you.

The Numbers:

  • Goal: Our target is set at $6.5 million, a sum that will empower us to take our services to new heights.

  • Progress: During the silent phase, we have already achieved $4 million, showcasing the dedication of our community.

The Purpose:

The driving force behind this campaign is the pressing need to address the challenges faced by military and veteran families. Here are just some stark statistics that underscore the urgency of our mission:

  • Financial Strain: 78% of families continue to shoulder out-of-pocket expenses after their housing allowance. 22% pay more than $400+ over what they receive, and their annual income is still very low.

  • Financial Literacy: With around 200,000 18-24 year-olds joining the military each year, many lack the necessary financial literacy skills, and are ripped from their home enviornements and support systems, moving every couple of years. This makes them vulnerable to financial instability.

Program Impact:

Our core program has consistently demonstrated their effectiveness, with only 3% of clients returning for additional assistance. We firmly believe that with the right support, these families can navigate the path to financial well-being.

Campaign Objectives:

  1. Staff Expansion: The rising demand for our services calls for an increase in our team's capacity. This campaign aims to raise funds to hire more social workers and staff.

  2. Increased Resources: We aim to increase our emergency grants fund and other resources, ensuring that we have the means to alleviate immediate threats of housing, transportation, utilities, food insecurity, and more for the increased number of families we would serve.

  3. Building Stability: The campaign seeks to purchase a building to ensure future stability, allowing us to extend our reach nationally and support military and Veteran families across the country.

How You Can Help:

Your contribution to the Capacity Building Campaign directly impacts the lives of those who have dedicated their service to our country. Here's how you can make a difference:
